The Award winning Tilgate Park and Nature Centre, situated on the outskirts of Crawley, is a true gem. Boasting a mix of open spaces, lakes, woodlands and landscaped gardens including a Walled garden with an event space, children’s maze and a café. There are water sports on the main lake, a children’s outdoor play area, a junior and an adult Go Ape tree top adventure course, a Smith and Western restaurant and even a golf course on site.

The Nature Centre is open all year round (excluding 25th December) and is home to amazing animals from around the world ranging from the much loved meerkats, pigs and goats to the weird and wonderful creatures such as tapir, capybara, macaws, chameleons, wallabies and reindeer. Animal experiences with the meerkats and tapir are available (needs to be booked in advance) and even a junior keeper experience for the day.
